It’s been a while since I did one of these! People that have followed along my journey in the past decade remember when it was all about the blog post.

For a while, the family needed me more than a blog needed me. Then I sort of got out of the habit. At one point I went to start it back up, and realized that EVERYTHING WAS GONE. I tried those dark web recover anything sites and I would find a post here and there, but not everything and I was quickly discouraged and told myself the blog platform is dead anyway….Instagram is all you really need these days. This was 5 years ago.

Now I realize I miss this. I miss the tutorials that can be longer than a Reel or a social media post. I miss the layout and the individuality and the storytelling that a blog promotes.

Obviously, I will still be sharing the everyday snapshots on instagram stories, and my quilts will still be posted on social media. But for those looking for a little more depth amongst tutorials and such….well, this will be the place to visit!
